Our own hometown celebration.
Port Wentworth's annual Stand up for America Day is held every year on the last Saturday in April to honor America's service men and women, past and present. The streets of Port Wentworth are filled with a parade, music, arts, crafts, food and kiddie rides. This homegrown celebration of our American heritage also includes fireworks that light up the city's night sky.
Won't you join us in saluting our soldiers and veterans for their contributions to our nation? If you would like more information on the event, or on how to participate in the parade, please call (912) 966-7428. Vendor participation is always welcomed; call for details.
