There are nearly 1,700 homes in Port Wentworth, ranging from traditional bungalows to new 3-5 bedroom houses. Housing is a great value, with new home prices starting in the mid $100,000s.

Port Wentworth is so popular largely because of its proximity to Savannah, of course. But that’s not all. It’s also well-served by retailers large and small. Port Wentworth recently welcomed the opening of The Citizens Bank of Port Wentworth on Highway 21 just west of Exit 109. Construction of a new retail center next to the bank is well underway with a new CVS Pharmacy and a Zaxby’s restaurant scheduled to be among the first new businesses to open there later this year.
